Rita Anagnostopoulos

Rita is a highly decorated technology executive with more than 25 years of global experience across enterprise software, digital platforms, data, AI, network and cybersecurity services. Her career spans Europe, ASEAN, and Australia–New Zealand, with senior leadership roles at Oracle, IBM, Avanade (Microsoft), SAS Institute, Verizon Business, and Thakral One, where she led large-scale data and AI implementations and established a regional Centre of Excellence across South-East Asia.

With deep experience in Financial Services, Rita currently advises executive teams operating in complex, regulated, and high-growth environments, bringing deep expertise in technology strategy, governance, risk, delivery and commercial leadership. She is recognised for her strategic thinking and commercial acumen but more so for her ability to support executive decision-making, investor readiness, and sustainable growth. Rita is a strong advocate for inclusive, human-centred technology that delivers measurable social and economic impact.

Rita holds a Master of Business and International Trade from Deakin University, a Bachelor of Commerce from La Trobe University, and is a Fellow Certified Practising Accountant (FCPA). She is also an Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and an active member of Australian Women in Cybersecurity and Women on Boards.
