Functional Business Analysis

Functional Business Analysis involves analysing systems and processes around an organisation’s business problems and determining appropriate updates to the current technologies. Analysis starts with evaluating current software systems and how well it meets the needs of that organization’s technologies. This leads to proposals of new, or enhancement of existing technologies, to improve system functionality, costings, efficiency, ease of use or workflows to meet the business objectives of key stakeholders. 

Roles performing Functional Business Analysis functions has the ability to analyse effect of the new systems or practices being implemented and devise required plans and artefacts (e.g. Functional Requirements document, User Manuals, other supporting material) for the proposed changes to be made.
