Women’s Day Series: A message for future generations of female leaders: Alice Bradbury, Director News.com.au

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2024, Liberty invited leaders from various industries to offer messages of support, advice and inspiration to women in the hope of encouraging the younger generation to pursue their dreams.
The next leader in our series is Director of Australia’s largest news website, news.com.au; Alice Bradbury.
Alice’s message for future generations of female leaders really resonated with the women of Liberty and we believe likewise will touch deep in our wider network. It’s “to be kind”. Like many of us in our earlier careers Alice didn’t really see kindness demonstrated in leadership frameworks. Kindness being perceived as a sign of weakness rather than a strength.
The good news according to Alice is that leaders, in particular female leaders, have bought kindness to the forefront in business and it’s the responsibility of all ‘humans’ to come to problems and challenges with good intent from the outset. Alice’s message invites future generations of female leaders to take what we’ve started and keep going; “it’s only the beginning”.

We hope you enjoy this series as much as we enjoyed making it. At Liberty we are different by design and therefore we wanted to shift gears and show that men and women working together are making a difference and leading the charge for a better future.
