Key achievements

  • As the COO of Bank of Sydney, Bill led a multimillion digital transformation program managing on-shore and off-shore cross functional teams & partners; BEAR accountable for all bank’s operations, major vendors/partners, platforms, processes and products; reduced the bank’s operations FTEs by 32%; implemented top tier digital automations and platforms, including CRM system, improving the customer & staff experience and the bank’s cost base.
  • Co-founded Lodex (fintech), Australia’s first digital Loans and Deposits Marketplace with over 55,000 members, auctioned more than $400Million of Home Loans and led the development of financial services digital wallet offering virtual banking services such as FX, Instant Payments and Personal Finance Management tool.
  • As the Head of Retail Operations at Alpha Bank, led all retail banking operations of 760 branches; designed and delivered operations and systems integration of two banking groups under merge, generating cost savings of $40Million.
  • As the Head of Retail Credit Operations at Credit Agricole, digitised end to end credit origination reducing response time by 80% and acquisition cost by 35%. • Designed, established, and presided over the Credit Centre for Credit Agricole, an extensive change management program of centralising credit operations from 360 branches into one cohesive unit, reducing credit & operational risk by 85%.
