Before joining Liberty IT Phillip career has been focused on Financial Services Technology working for various well-known brands and start-ups. He has been an APAC and ANZ business leader for global business, APAC CIO with operations in 10+ countries with 6 data centres and 480+ staff, director and a global COO.
An active member of the payments community he had served on a number of industry groups. Phillip has an extensive career across a number of entities and roles in including First Data (now Fiserv), Clear2Pay, FIS, ACI, Temenos, Laybuy and board member for Fintech startups.
In addition to his extensive Fintech and payments experience, Phillip is avid cyclist and enjoys spending time with his family.
An experienced business leader who has delivered strong outcomes in the Fintech and Payments domains. He acts as a strong change agent in delivering transformational business strategy and innovative technology outcomes. A customer centric leader with strong focus on engaging clients, either internal or external to ensure delivery to their requirements.
Some of the larger projects Phillip has been a leader in including migration of core banking to the cloud, New Payments Platform and payments hub implementations for Tier 1 and 2 Australian Banks, G3 Fast (Singapore) implementation and business banking platforms. The team Phillip led also won a tier 1 Australian Bank supplier of the year award.
